What's going on with Occu;t Cresent?

I went in when it first released and I then got side tracked by Exp 33 and have just been back in there again. I tired fate farming over 3 days outside of there and I got 1 demi atma lol

I went in OC and managed to get 2 and some other things so was less tedious. I do find the fates over really fast though and I just felt it was like rush rush rush and I hate that. I did manage to do some CE and they where fun but trying to get to a fate before its over because players just want to rush is a bit annoying. I have now bought the riding map so hoping that will make things a little easier for me.

Farming the atma outside was taking way longer and I must have maxed out on gems and the shared fates.

It's dead content, unless you want to run FT.

It was really busy last night and I am wanting to work on getting a relic weapon so hoping it stays busy and I enjoy the treasure chests :) It would have been fun to have to find a lock combination like in FFXI but maybe players would have hated that lol

Not really. There's always going to be some new players who want to start the DT relic steps after a long break and others who want to do the OC specific achievements along with those who want to farm the glams, upgraded gear, big ship mount, fortune carrots, silver/gold chests, and various PJ that'll be added in the future too. I know I'm on aether but it's often crowded around the camp as we're all waiting for the CE to start up.

The biggest strike against OC is that we can not level our characters there. I know they want us to do that in the deep dungeon but that really is not my cup of tea. I’d rather have leveled my alt jobs in OC but as I can’t, I don’t know when or if I will at this point.

There's so many ways to level jobs already that almost every single activity will give exp to alt jobs. I liked this OC since I could play my maxed jobs and get decent gear upgrades for alt jobs too.

No idea. I'm there every day and don't have any problem you just mentioned lol It's not even remotely close to "dead content" like others here are trying to say.
