I’ve probably gotten Syrcus, LotA and WoD more often than not, but I’m done now. lol I much preferred getting my 3 whole runs of Thaleia, or my 1 run of Jeuno that I didn’t have to manually queue for /after/ running for my daily bonus! XD Shame I didn’t get Paradigm at all. Only got Orbonne and Dun Scaith once each. WoD was by far the most frequent.
I agree, almost done with only the 4 daily bonus, allows me to focus on mainly on CE witch is welcome break from battle content after almost 100 fork tower clears.
There's no reason to rush, I'll most likely get those 21 * 1500 tomes by the time the next patch drops.
problem is if you log off every time you get crystal tower you wont get anywhere
I already finished the new relic step and buying my 3rd relic. I really love the new glow effect on these. For most of them, it's now my favorite 2nd stage relic glow they've ever done. Just super clean with an awesome solar flare ejection type effect. I love it. My only complaint is the SCH/SMN books a bit disappointing - the glow is a bit too small, and I'm not super crazy about a lot of the base models especially SGE. So while the glow is awesome, I wish more of the base models looked better.
I'm loving this new step.
It's giving me a reason to do roulettes I've normally skipped (Trials Roulette at max level gives meager rewards for the time spent in it and High Level Dungeons give no top tier tomestones). And a lot less RNG than the previous phase, especially the Verdigris DemiAtma CE was spawned by only killing Inkblots.
Now the RNG is which content you pull up from the roulette. Get the mandatory for MSQ CT, you get less light. Get Nier or Jeuno, get more.
I think if I would change anything about it, I would give the roulettes a base amount similar to how we did light steps in the past where specific instances had base amounts. Then if they wanted to introduce variability on the bonus, that might be one place. But honestly I think the variability based on time expenditure is really hurting players especially in alliance raid, because CT is and always will be more prominent as it is required for the MSQ.
If they did a variable bonus, then it should consider bonuses based on level of content instead of average time. Though even that could lead to issues, where people would leave all the lower level instances.
So I think the best option is what we had in previous steps. Have the base amount then have certain times of the day where there is a bonus. Make it unpredictable, so that encourages players to utilize the roulette more than just once a day. And there would still be the base amount that players could get for each roulette they did. They would just get that unexpected bonus sometimes like we did with light before.
That way no one is encouraged to leave certain duties since they would all give the same base amount and the bonus wouldn't be based on which duty came up.
