The Alliance Raid roulette daily bonus is set as low as it is because the Lv.50 raids weren't considered in isolation.

The base aether for each instance is based on some expected, average completion time. The daily bonus for the roulettes is set so that each roulette, on average, yields 700-800 aether.

The problem with the Alliance Raid roulette is that the average completion time varies wildly depending on which instance you get, with the Crystal Tower series being unusually fast. The daily bonus is set as if you usually get any other alliance raid series.

And that's the problem. We do not have an equal chance of getting the higher level raids, and it results in lower than expected aether because you're almost always getting the lowest aether options. The daily bonus should have been made with the assumption that the Lv50 raids were not worth any aether, so that even if you were getting them every time you'd still finish at roughly the same time as the other roulettes

What's fun about spamming roulettes for days on end with no other option to complete the weapons like in other expansions?

I've done about 75% of the pools since coming back a few days ago and 90% of the content I'm getting is 60 and under. It's extremely tedious and boring. Yes, I appreciate and understand it's a roulette but that also implies a bit of a variety - that's just not the case. Adding iLevel checks to things like Alliance Raids does nothing when all someone has unclocked is CT because there's no incentive, requirement or directive to unlock anything else.
