This post is so weird. Like you almost have some good points in there, but it's laden with your weird erp opinions and judgments on how people should dress their characters. You have a problem with people judging you for your opinions, but you're literally doing that exact same thing here.
Also this just makes it sound like you said something horrible to someone about how their character was dressed and are now mad that they reported you. Classic FAFO.
Next time just write this in your personal journal. You're not going to get any sympathy here talking like this.
So correct me if I'm wrong, but it comes across as, I changed and now I want everyone to change too and meet my standards. And end wokeness ofcourse....
if you bait atleast format it right this is so annoying to read
This is an odd way to announce you were reported and got a temp ban for being a bigot in-game...
Well, goodbye. Good Riddance.
There are people who have the views that your bait post expresses, and while I disagree with them completely, I acknowledge their right to those opinions.
FF14 is more or less a reflection of the real world with a magnifying glass on it because people present behaviors that would have been suppressed or that they wouldn't have had opportunities to express in real-world situations. That's why you see the dudes in women's glams, or furry's, or people who have lots of simulated erotic encounters, or the plethora of everything else that would take a day to list. Those forms of "taboo" expressions are what lies in the heart of humanity for the most part, and yes, this does include the socially exclusionary behaviors you see in party finder, and even boring people who have done the same thing for the past 15 years. The game - like many online games, is an outlet where people can safely (mostly <.<) explore the way they really are without having to worry about their way of life being destroyed due to some form of prejudice, morality, or otherwise systematic obstruction.
And that's kinda it. You can form your opinion on the emergent player behaviors from this phenomena, and likewise we can disagree or agree as we see fit. I personally hate the 18+ shouts in every city-state and zone in the game, that's why I use term filters. Welcome to MMO's homie. There are safe spaces for people who are against all of that - they're called churches
Excellent post, Neo! ❤️
Live and let live. Personally, if I there is something I'm into, I'll take part; if there is something I'm not into, I ignore it and go about my day. I find that to be a lot easier than being angry and bitter. Inner peace is a wonderful thing.
