Would be cool if PvP series was expanded to PvE

I am all for having various methods to gain similar rewards. I LOATHE PvP and tire of seeing cool rewards that I know I will never obtain because I HATE to pvp. I just never do it.
I dont bog down games or matches with my useless butt though. I just dont ever Queue for it. Even though it annoys me greatly, Im content knowing the rewards are forever beyond my reach in that regard.

The Reason both PvP and PvE needs seperate Rewards its pretty simple, the PvP Series is currently one of the Reasons why PvP is so healthy and still played besides the daily Frontline, if you now get the same Reward in PvE, what do you think would happen to PvP? And so People can get even more Rewards every few Months, so there is nothing bad to seperate both Series in seperate Rewards.

so you're saying the only reason pvp is alive is because there are unique rewards from it and that it would die if not for them ?
that's super unhealthy if it's the case, that would mean:
- SE is wasting resources every patch on a game mode people only play for what comes out of it and not for fun
- the community is forced to artificially keep it alive when SE puts rewards they know people want there

how can you claim to know that

you seem awfully invested in not getting the things you want 🤔

additionally adding new series would take resources that SE is already struggling to spare for other things while OP's solution as stated is way more realizable but if they can add more rewards might as well add them for everyone to enjoy (including those who don't like pvp but not excluding those who do)

Exclusive rewards for specific content is a good thing, full stop.

It incentivizes people to do the various things. There are exclusive rewards for content across the game (not just PvP) to incentivize players to take part in the content and do the various things.

Likewise. If people can get pvp rewards by doing something else for the sake of freedom, which I don't hate, then let me get access to pve rewards by doing pvp, and we're talking.

Sometimes, I would like to have the new stuff from savage raids, but I am not a savage raider, so I will most likely have to wait 1-2 expansions before I can obtain it unsync. Rewards do not manipulate me into believing I have to play something that I do not want to play. I accept that I am not willing to put in the effort and miss out on the reward. You will get your pvp rewards in a year or so for minimal trophy crystals too.

You are conflating something that is added to the game and then exists in perpetuity for you to achieve/acquire whenever you feel like it with a reward system which is time-sensitive and only available an arbitrary amount of time later when the developers feel like adding it in, if at all? While any new shiny item could instill the fear of missing out in someone who wants it ASAP, only one of these reward structures is offered in such a way that you must participate a certain amount within a certain timeframe or else you are left to the whims of the developers.

And don't let me forget to mention that this is a rare game that actually has finally opened up old rewards from time-sensitive events. That is not the norm in this industry. (Also ignoring that it was completely manipulative of Yoshi P to mention adding old Series rewards in the trophy crystal shop eventually but then say nothing about it for 3 years til they felt like finally doing it.)

But they DO add old rewards now, so chill and be happy? I also have to wait to get savage stuff. Practice patience. It's not that hard. And you can still do frontlines and be helpful taking care of the objectives at least if you are scared of the fight.

I second this, however I would like it even more if I could get those savage books by doing Frontline too.

If I win 10 frontlines I should get a guaranteed book of my choice.
If I lose 15, my effort should still be rewarded with one of those books. That way we're continually making progress as long as we're participating and it won't be a waste of time.

I think the 10 ranked 5v5 wins should be a higher step up, like an ultimate totem of my choice since its a lot harder.
