Yeah anything would be better than nothing. it would just be nice to see /hear what direction 1.0 was going and see what was up with those areas of the game we couldnt acess.

If there is no more development on that stuff you may as well just forget about it lol. Alot of games have unfinished tidbits in them that are just there and never explained.

^some unexplored areas from 2011. Some of these areas we have access to (AV, CC, Ifrit, Garuda, etc)

Some unused areas I'm sure they put aside and will probably use in 2.0 as brand new dungeons and open world content, although its not really brand new, just unused, but new to use. At least it'll get a nice face lift. lol

I had said before I'd like to see the concept art from Tanaka's vision when the game is shut down, possibly as a bonus item when buying the new XIV OST, but as someone pointed out there may be some copyright issues with that one. I really dont forsee why there'd be an issue, its still property of SE to do with as they want.
