I think FFXIV ARR is more than an expansion. If an Expansion like MoP got on the list, then by what criteria is ARR excluded? If anything, calling ARR an expansion is an understatement , no?

People say it's trivial, but trust me, in marketing, nothing is trivial.
Little useless poll like this People's Choice award is a marketing in itself, by not getting listed, it's missing out the buzz.

Most gaming websites are garbage anyway. Besides, they all apear to be full of people who couldn't decide what to eat for breakfast if someone didn't tell them that cheerios scored a 9/10 in a blog.

People still give a damn about IGN?

They give anything from Nintendo an automatic 9 or better, and their reviews are generally terrible. Most of their people on their videos are twat muffins too.

I prefer GT or Joystiq, and occasionally destructoid. The only guy I have any respect for at IGN is of course, HD Starcraft (and I guess PainUser)

While it may be true that "IGN sux", "most gaming websites are crap" or whatever, it doesn't really help SE for us to write IGN off as garbage, even if it's true.

^ There's the contact email address from the website. You can write him/her to complain that ARR wasn't on the list (since bitching about it here won't help).

You can't spell IGNorant without IGN.

Maybe if Square-Enix actually gave people more to look at and made it publicly available it'd be on that list.

I fired off an email like that.

It's either a huge oversight or it's a reflection of their opinions about FFXIV and imposing it on their readers.

A story made it on Kotaku today, they posted the new screenshots and concept art. Nothing to be found on IGN regarding the new screens.
