Why obtaining weekly raid gear feels bad, and a possible fix.

We already have a generic token, it's called tomestones. I think they make the raid tokens to help incentive the different fights.

I do think they could somehow change the rolling system though. This would probably just be confusing but it would be nice to have a first choice roll. For example, if I win both a roll for a chest piece and a leg piece, let me decide I want the chestpiece. That would make rolling more efficient.

do you know why it mostly feel bad? it's because in 7.4 all your gear will be bad no matter what happen getting gear unless you are LVL is well pretty much useless because again and again you have to repeat the steps. honestly what they really need to do is to release token that just allow you to upgrade your armor you desire to current tiers so you get the stats you want instead.

Exciting trinkets in wow ? Go to any wow forum and people number one complain is about trinkets

If their worry is that savage would die right away if it was farmable then they could just put a low drop rate thing on each floor that when you combine all 4 you get a funny mount or something.

I wish we had a Criterion dungeon like expert that dropped tome gear. Weekly lockout or something it's fine, but just more alternative ways to get gear. Even if it's with challenging dungeons or whatever.

You can do week 1 with crafted gear though, beyond week 1 you can still do it with just crafted and pentamelds

I'd prefer if we didn't have to deal with content being completely trivialised by gear within a few weeks of release. This is another argument for removing gear for me.

the gear is there to make it easier to clear the raid over time.
