After just finishing the new dungeon, honestly might go back to Pictomancer or go back to healing jobs. It's so funny how weird BLM feels without the sense of urgency. I thought for sure I'd be on board with the changes, too, but it has no satisfying kick to it now.
I think removing the timers revealed a flaw in it that I could never feel because of those same dang timers taking up so much of my thinking while playing. Could also just be my ADHD brain begging for dopamine and not getting the same zap now.
And also, why have Leylines anymore? The increase of basic cast speed and movement demands has nuked any incentive to use it.

You know they make all these changes to BLM to make it "playable" for their new fight content, then you have situations where you need to watch a guy's fingers snapping...but your attack graphics practically cover the area you're supposed to be watching. Good job SE.
Honestly, they need to completely dismantle BLM--remove every spell except for Fire, Thunder, Blizard, Flare, and Freeze, and literally rebuild the entire job from the ground up if they're going to remake it for current fight design. This current iteration is not acceptable. Zoraal Ja was a better villain than BLM is a job right now.
