Can you imagine how overwhelmed the players would be if they had to do golden saucer a bit for it ? Or do a quest or two ?

Has there ever been a named character's unique hairstyle added to the game that wasn't from the cash shop? Because at least from what I remember, it's pretty much always been the case.

Square Enix didn't add it to a dungeon or the Gold Saucer. They added it as a $5 Mog Station item. Do you know many Mog Station items there are in the game now ? The total microtransactions you can buy is now more than $1000. This is for a game that you have to pay AAA money for, on top of that you have a subscription fee, and hmm ? The most popular requests that players have been asking nicely for is something you have to pay extra !

This is just pure, disgusting greed. Not to mention they don't even allow any refund, so if you don't like the hairstyle or change race you can't even do anything about it. How is this acceptable ?

Next time, don't ask Square Enix for any cosmetic. You know what they will do ? They'll take the most popular request and add it to Mog Station.

But Square Enix is a business, and what do businesses do, they make money by offering products and or services.

I was surprised they didn't bin the hair in with obtainable gear for like, $15, so $5 just for the hair in my opinion is spot on.

Though, they could make hair purchases account wide, cause I'm not going to purchase it for my alts even though I'd like them to have it too.

Usually i really dont care about stuff like that but right now i think square is overdoing it quit a bit, everything good looking ends up in the store, while everything ugly is obtainable ingame, in the past we got atleast nice glam through the seasonal events, but how many costumes did we get the past events? 0? i dont know if with DT was a change in Squares Lead for Final but there are clearly changes compared to before, best example is graha usually the hairstyle comes WITH the costume but there they even seperated both items which is something square didnt do before.

A point worth note is that to a lot of people, that's a positive, as they may not care for the outfit and only for the hairstyle, so not being forced to buy clothes you will never wear works out, a common complaint I heard in the past is Aymeric's armor, as it is male-locked, so if you bought the hair for a female character, you are shit out of luck there and had to pay for an item you can't even use. It does screw over people who wanted the hair and the outfit both, as now they add up too 17$.

They need to add the french rococo mod hairstyle that once existed.
Honestly through I would pay $5 just for a better makeup pallette brighter lips and heavy eyeshadow. It exists in mods... I know it can be done. It's pure sloth they don't add any new options.
