It's just a complete misnomer to claim something is nerfed before it's even out. I'm sure they have added/removed/adjusted tons of mechanics in a variety of content while designing. They just happened to mention this singular time that they knew the mechanics were going to be more difficult than they were going for. The OP apparently thinks your first design must be the absolute final version and you can't update or refine anything as you go through the process apparently.

If you can do simple arithmetic in your head then you'll realize that means it's weekend in Japan. No one works during these hours. The forums are notorious for going unmoderated over the weekend. Which means they intentionally logged in outside of work hours, outside of their work responsibilities to censor the criticism lmao

maybe the trial was accidently on ultimate difficulty so they had to nerf it... completely understandable. no point in whining about it

If that's what they meant they would have said it. Instead of talking about Japan's weekend, they talked about America's Friday night so I doubt that was their actual intent (though now they'll probably co-opt your theory as a convenient way to complain).

That said, I'm shocked a moderator would login to work after hours after an important scheduled event! They're out to get us!
