Damn right it is true, after you clear the current ultimate wanted to farm the weapon but sadly it lock due square enix need money.

Anyhow should be open due chaotic give 730 gear with no lockout. I feel like it oversee by the devs they going to fix it.

I misread then since I thought it was about instance lockouts, not loot lockout. Loot lockout is what makes it annoying.

The main reason Ultimate has a lockout is because Savage does. The weapon is slightly better—one extra materia meld—and it wouldn’t make sense for the more potent weapon to be freely farmable while the weaker one is locked. It also artificially prolongs the snowflake feeling of the weapons.

That's because it is. Most people go for their reclears nowadays and the casuals are still grinding at the bit for Savage. Not misinformation, but more an opinion of why we have weekly loot lockouts. Lockouts I can understand for the first three months of Savage, Ultimate having a lockout makes ZERO sense, since that is essentially evergreen content in terms of difficulty(and generally even if weapons are the BEST, they're only good until the next raid tier/iLv increase).

This late in the tier are there really any people who care about it and still don't have the gear they need? They wait too long for these things.
