Can we PLEASE fix Physick on SMN already?

Personally, id rather they just remove it. It was only there as a heal for the Egi's (restored after it and sustain was removed) but that isnt an issue anymore and we have enough (too much IMO) healing utility as it is.
So I dont think its needed at all. Its also a very minor issue compared to the others the job has.

I’d just like to see it be as effective as a Vercure or a Second Wind for those moments I do something dumb and need to keep myself alive until the healer notices! lol or something I can throw out to help when my Lux is inevitably not available when it would actually be useful!

It's okay. Physick is useless on Scholar, too.

For real, though it's funny how they have yet to fix this spell. It's not like they're strangers to making healers more obsolete. We always have to fight like the world depends on it for the tiniest QOL changes.

From my experience in business software, this might actually be the reason.

There might be a task "Consider SMN Physick and figure out what to do with it", someone linked it to the SCH-based "Figure out what to do with GCD healers in general" task. And that latter one keeps being bumped down to "a future expansion/rework", and due to the linked nature, SMN-Physick gets shoved down with it.

Either remove it or fix it. Making it scale off of INT wouldn't be game breaking. Putting a heal on a GCD is a huge penalty of a DPS class (see: RDM). Hell, it is a huge penalty for PLD too. No one would be sad if it just disappeared tomorrow either.

why would you fix it just get it removed honestly no DPS need more way to heals not gonna lie I do rather have a other set of summon over that

That's not how that'd work. It's unlikely that the person who could make the engine change to scale Physick off of INT via a new trait for Summoners (effectively actually upgrading Physick to "Physick", same name and icon but internally a different spell) is the same one that could do all the art, implementation and scripting work plus all the QA needed for new artwork and sound to implement new summons. You're talking about a team effort that is not insignificant, even before get to the part that a class dev could do which is figure out the balance details of a whole new set of summons.
