the fact is 2.0 is not a brand new game. Depending on who you talk to, it's a re-release or a remake. I would not expect to pay full console price for either. That doesn't mean they don't have faith, it means they're smart and they know what their likely clientele are willing to pay.

Now, if the price was $10-20, I might start to question the quality, but even that's not a sure thing, because I've played some games in that price range that are amazing.

Piracy isn't as rampant in the PC world as many developers claim- especially when you consider that consoles also have piracy.

Services like Steam, Desura, Direct2Drive, etc have vastly increased the amount of legitimately purchased PC games- especially Steam, because they have sales and discounts all the time. I can't tell you how many games I've just randomly bought because they were heavily discounted on a steam sale. I've discovered a lot of good games this way, in fact.

Actually I think Id love to play some steam games. I like tower defense and silly games like that and Im sure they'd have a good selection of such games for good prices.

Btw, You should go to the thread in my signature and post your opinion on Morgan Freeman narrating a FF14 trailer. Because... well its what the cool kids are doing these days. With just one post you become a swaggy leet hipster. :D

The date is just Amazon's default, it just marks the item was Dec 31st of the year it assumes the item will be released until a solid date is given.
