Yeah and because of the new wind up, when I hit the button and the animation/sound begin to wind up it messes with my brain as I think that I am casting something like Ogi and I should not be moving, or same as you've said. It totally throws me off. I wish they would change it back.

It's a downgrade and I have absolutely no idea why it happened. Was the part of the budget set aside for giving finally giving RPR their Arcane Circle > Plentiful Harvest action change setting wasted on this instead?

I prefer the new animation. The old one was too over the top. I think they should remove the swords sticking out of the ground for the first tendo setsugekka too. Keep the rest of the animation the same but just remove the weird swords. It's very overstated and busy.
Like, they spawn with these beam flashes which draws your visual focus to them and then you kinda miss out on the execution of the main animation because you're already drawn to these silly swords.
It takes away from both the really cool ground effect happening directly under your character, and also the main animation. All for what? Some flashy over the top nonsense for no reason? -

The new animation is so much better. It really provides a sense of power combining all three elements into a single finishing blow.
I have no idea why anyone would want to spin around doing a silly horizontal cartwheel. I had to adjust my rotation to cancel the last part of the old animation. -
11-23-2024, 07:47 AMHikariKurosawaI'd go as far as saying it's such a good animation that they should replace tendo setsugekka with it only instead of a vertical diagonal slash, as a horizontal slash. Then tsubame would create the iconic midare shape of a cross slash. More understated but more impactful overall. I really just don't like the animation for tendo setsugekka. It's gaudy.Quote:
