Hey man it was an awesome idea! I really love it :D

Cool idea but does not really fit the lore of the game world.

However, it would work if the screens were only in the imperial cities, if those will even be in the game, because they would be the ones to have that kind of tech.

I am fairly sure it's a particularly gigantic challange that, while doable in a single-player game is completely and absolutely unfeasible in an MMO. Actually I am fairly sure that in the case they manage to do that, it's going to be some sort of revolutionary technology.

This. Also, since it would technically be streaming video in addition to the normal game data, this would require significantly more bandwidth.

From a programming perspective, I think that this would most likely be extremely difficult to implement and probably not worth the cost.

Our airships are just balloons tied to a boat...what makes you think we have LCD technology?

It doesn't have to be TV. It can be reflecting water, reflection pool, magical flowy mirror, something like that.

That would be an insane bandwidth hog.

You think lag in the cities is bad now?

This big screen idea..........did you just get done watching/reading the Hunger Games? Do you volunteer as tribute for the city-state? *joking

It would be interesting but I don't think it's feasible. The watching arena fights does sound cool!
