FFXIV - DDOS'ed again?

10:57 EST and it seems the issue has returned.

Keep getting disconnected.

So much for the "upgraded servers" we were promised in SB.

Just hoping tonight goes better than last night. I was okay up until it was around 9:40 CST and then the entire thing started having problems. I managed to log back in after it booted me but then it was a slide show. Couldn't even see the FC buffs and nothing was registering promptly on the action bar.

But you said it was the NTT node in this very thread. So... Not SEs servers.



I'd say don't quit your day job, but you probably did that years ago when your rmt business picked up.

You know it's an issue when even the FFXIV reddit addresses there's an issue.

SE likes to blame it on DDoS but in reality it's the NTT node, usually the San Jose one, that's falling apart causing all this lag and disconnects. It's easier to push the blame somewhere else rather than fix the issue at hand.

3rd night, each getting progressively worse.

Fair few rounds of FL where entire alliances just disappear. It's wild. I saw a lalafell's dead body skateboarding around Onsal.
