So like Catbus FFXIV edition?

Do they have any 8-person mounts that actually show the characters while they ride? I'd love a mount like that; I was really disappointed with the Lunar Whale because part of what I love about multi-person mounts is being able to see my and my friends avatars riding around together.

So if everyone rides on the cat, I'd love that! But I would worry that the implementation would be something like "everyone is riding inside its stomach so you can't see them".
