This DC change actively works against the cross DC travel they implemented in EW. There are plenty of statics that have members across Data centers and now this change prevents them from playing together. not even just raiding, RP venues or just people who want to play together can no longer travel. This is a massive step backwards for the game.

Really not a big fan of this change.
Takes forever to get over to another DC to get all of our cross data center static together, and then you aren't even looking at what this means for casual players and roleplayers who just want to play with friends on Crystal or other venues.
We had a month of great queue times but now it took 20 minutes to get to Marilith, when previously it only was taking about 30 seconds.

Adding in a comment as someone who runs a Player Run event...this change makes me worry about the longevity of doing so if this is going to exclude a lot of my friends and attendees. Especially on Crystal—many people run many events that draw interest in attendence and this change feels like you may as well have gotten rid of DC or server travel at all and return to Ye Old Days...and would inadvertantly make players compete against each other for something like hosting social event; which seems extremely counter intuitive to everything laid in place to allow people to, you know, socialize?
I felt strongly enough about this to actually make an account on the forums, kindly I would ask y'all to reconsider this policy or approach it in a different way.

I have spent the last 1 hour logging in, watching the dc transfer fail, game crashing, logging in again on repeat and I'm still stuck in the void
If you or any friends are considering doing dc visit: just don't do it

Im in that situation at the moment....i thought "long queu times, no problem i try my luck" i read to late that one gets locked into the Transfer Limbo @.@

I run a cross DC savage static, and this is making so where we can't raid day 1, possibly even week 1. We raid on primal typically, and so it's not like we were going the raid hub, IE: Aether. This is untenable

This is the single worst change in the history of this game in my opinion. It's trying to solve a problem but creating so many more. Venues, friendships, everything is just so ridiculously hard to try to organize. Terrible change and I hate this.

I logged out in Dynamis thinking it would be fine to back to my world server the next day... I can't go back home. Stuck in never ending traveling and then eventually the game crashes.

Chiming in as an RPer; I have two main characters, one based on Aether and an alt on Crystal. My Aether character is now effectively stuck a data center away from most of my RP contacts. My Crystal alt, on the other hand, can now only visit Crystal venues, all of which will likely see major attendance hits from a significant portion of their audience being literally unable to access them.
I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for cross-DC raiders who were excited to try the savage raids today, or the folks stuck in the void because their transfers back home keep failing. I don't know the first thing about managing an MMO and I'm not going to pretend otherwise, but surely there has to be a better way to keep crowds under control than this!

2 of my raid mates from a different DC are stuck in limbo.
