with this reclycling of gear (horrible textures, color schemes that don't follow any pattern), DT as a whole is pathetic. everything is done to a minimum, no ambition... and to think, this so-called new arc is supposed to put the knight of light back on the road for the next 10 years.....
Watch as they add unique glam sets to the mogstation with better textures, materials and fully double dyeable channel, the mogstation Scary lady always wins.
It would be fine if they used the opportunity to upscale old gear (e.g. Classical sets), but obviously that involves actual work when the devs probably want a time and/or cost-saving method specifically...
That's crazy. I get regift, reuse, recycle, but I would've liked something older.
Hell that could have been a lazy man's wake to add dual dyes to some gear that doesn't have it yet.

Not... really? Like I said, I didn't make this to complain about the concept of recycled gear, I'm just wondering out loud why the devs continue to not allow themselves a bit more creative freedom and players, something slightly more exciting than just the same sets for the same Roles?
Looking at DT compared to EW, we got 3 new armor sets and 3 new weapons in DT compared to 2 new armor sets and 4 new weapons in EW. Both got a new weapon for the savage tier.
(This is not looking at stuff like tome gear which is always new when released.)

Yeah i also was disapointed when i saw its just Rinacita Gear.
Like others i wouldnt mind that its repurposed old gear but Rinacita its a rather young set....
If they're going to reuse gear would it hurt them to swap the gear to different roles? This excuse of "we need to keep the tank/heal/dps identity" is an excuse for laziness when people can wear a pig or squirrel costume as any role.
