Can we please have a definitive answer regarding Hats for both Viera and Hrothgar

I still don't get why they can't just let us hide our ears.

i've honestly given up all hope that they will ever give us hats. ive been a viera since they came out, up until hrothgirls got added. i will say it is very refreshing that hrothgirls at least can wear a lot more helmets than viera...

but yeah, it's just really sad at this point. before the "limited" races got added, hats were honestly my favorite piece to choose on each glam. i love big hats and i love imposing, large helmets. i love chunky glamour. it's just really sad that if i want to play my favorite race, i am locked out of my favorite glam slot.

also, something i learned, the reason they can't make hats for viera at least is not because of the ears. their hair takes up the model slot of a hat, which is why they can wear a lot of hoods that hide hair. example: cryptlurker hood of healing, nier scouting hood, etc.. the hairs that viera have also dont have a deformed model like other races do, which is how hats are applied. by this, i mean the squish that a hair receives when wearing something like the calfskin cap.

Give us our hats. Please. I just want to wear a wizard hat.

Unfortunately this is not something that will ever be addressed explicitly due to (Japanese) corporate culture, and unless some journalist/e-celeb ambushes YoshiP with it during an interview/fanfest/whatever, and doesn’t let him just brush it off, you can expect it will continue to be pushed to the bottom of the pile.

It existed before? I don't know...I feel like there's been no quality control since EW, glaring repeating textures in Labryinthos on every rock...that god damn empty cave.
I won't even begin to jump into the rabbit hole of the graphical update...a gift that keeps on giving.

On topic...
I played F/M Viera alot, never been a fan of hats, but I've been a fan of hairstyles. We barely get any compared to other races. I don't play these alts anymore...

Thing is, Viera and Hrothgar are like the 'unfinished DLCs'
