Possibly the only new mech is M1, where you get your butt uppercut into a title, I can't remember another mech like that before, but I guess one mus exist somewhere?

They aren't new mechanics as such, but the pacing of the encounters are refreshing compared to 'recent' history for normal mode content.
It's called people who are praising mechs we've seen thousands of time and just cuz it's pretty they think omg it's new when it is in fact not new. It's called misinformation how many more days and years are we just going to accept half baked reworked ideas for mechs an be like yea give me more before we say this is enough I'm tired of seeing and doing the same thing that I've been doing since 2013.
But yes me correcting someone and sharing knowledge is apparently shitting on them absolutely. And yall wonder why the playerbase has nothing but casuals these days and stand in Aoes like it's a pool party and get KB like it's a ride at a theme park for bungee jumping.
It's essentially a vertical knock back, it was done in HW dungeons and the raid in A8 for steam vents, several times in ShB and so on and so forth. All they did was take Pando Tiles from P12 and melded them together to rework and repurpose the mech. If you want to be super critical of it essentially it's Titan in the same way If you look at how his arena gets smaller in a circular fashion as the fight progresses. It's been there since 2013 same mech but just tiles instead of the arena whiting away as the fight progresses permanently as they do get repaired again same as P12 EW raid.
Again not new, repurposed/reworked/melded together to create this "new mech" everyone thinks it is but it's not
The new raid is indeed really nice, the difficulty is decent without being too much, music are nice, story got me interested, only issue for me is how the gear look but then again since i have no more room in that cursed dresser I don't really care !
I'm really enjoying them. Some mechanics we've seen before but either presented in a different way or with a different tell to keep things interesting. Though some that were exact were fun. I laughed a bit in M3 to think "Ohai Emerald Weapon, good to see you again". They are spicy enough to keep things exciting mixing familiar mechanics with a more fast-paced style without being overly punishing so that a struggling party can still make it through.
