ability to toggle weather effects, can i have it?

Rain is just annoying. It LAGS, yet most games rain doesn't even touch frame rate. It also just gets in the way and is annoying.

The effect isn't even that good to make it interesting and nice.

a very good request indeed, please implement a switch for weather! i've perfectly fine-tuned my XFX HD 6870 to 28% fan speed, that's almost noiseless. while fishing with rain and botany with rain in gridania (i live in the gridania region, i try to stay there as much as possible!) fan speed goes up to 40% because the graphic card reaches 77 degrees celsius and has to be cooled down, it starts to get really noisy during rain only. re rest of the weather is just lovely, maybe just make the rain a bit 'thinner' if there will be no switch for it?

178 views and only 17 people would want them to add controls for rain and weather?

Yes please, we need to have a toggle for weather

I'm for more control of the graphic settings as well, and certainly in game settings when they have the time or ability to implement them.

On a side note I wish there were more subtle weather effects in the game at all times. The environment is pretty static/still when there is no weather effect. A wind or breeze really brings life to the environment and is really well done imo.

Definitely would like to see this implemented.

Yes please do something about the graphic control and the weather it does rain to much in the black shroud and the limsa area my computer laggs really bad when it rains i have a a tough time doing leves and gathering plues trying to look stuff up on my internet browser laggs realie bad when i have the game running as well looking up stu so being able to lower the graphic's and turning of the weather would make the game more enjoyable with out the lagg

I don't have a hard time running with weather effects but I support the addition of more options such as this.

I personally enjoy the weather effects, and they dont really effect my laptops performance. However, this is not the case for everyone, and such an option would be a life saver for them.

As well as this, I would like to see more option on graphics all around. EG: terrain detail, caracter detail, spell detail etc
