Why are we changing Viper????

This is the main problem with Viper and what they're going to change. For positionals they're probably going to change it on twinblade but leave the main combo strings alone.

It’s good design, but it should have audio cues or maybe a flashy color specific thing around your character to indicate what comes next without needing to look at some specific up element.

If it were me I would have made the left sword always blue, right always red, then given a small glow to the pc of matching color. Have both colors when either is fine, and sound cue like it is for the finisher.

Bonus points if they could make the color glow be on the actual sword model you are holding.

Ah yes. Keeping an eye on your rotation that literally goes 111, 222, 112, 221. TOTALLY have to keep an eye on that combo. Yup yup yup.

They made me dread 7.05, I hope not really much is changed. I love it as it is.

If you have trash internet in 2024, that's a you problem. Get better internet, stop living in the middle of the boonies and crying about having bad internet. Cant afford good internet? Maybe xiv shouldnt be a priority, and instead improve your life choices and priorities.

For dancer having to divide your attention between your bars and the fight is not a problem but rather the only single aspect of the job that is engaging at all.

In the case of viper this isn't rng based and therefore super predictable, it doesn't require any simplification.

If either of those are "problems" then you can just as well qualify any challenging aspect of the game as a problem.

fun is illegal nowadays
