Which job seems the most fun for Dawtrail?

None of the old jobs really got anything interesting so I feel like pictomancer and viper will be the standouts for me.

This was kind of the feeling I was getting while reading over the patch notes and going through the forums. Definitely going to give those new jobs a shot first. Probably RDM and BLM next.

Absolutely Pictomancer for me. I'm incredibly excited to start playing it right away when I log in.

I'm looking forward to Pictomancer the most.

However, an honorable mention goes to Monk. I haven't really played or enjoy melee DPS much at all since back in ARR when I mained MNK for a short time back in like 2.1. There was a short stent where I played Samurai a bit when it came out, but the 'wow factor' was lost on me all too soon. However, the Monk changes actually have me really interested in playing it again.

I'm also excited to pick up my classic Summoner and Scholar again, which is probably what I'll run the MSQ as. Been either a Summoner or Scholar as a main pretty consistently since 2.2 and unless my initial excitement for either Pictomancer or Monk really sticks, I'll continue to main them.

They all look kinda barebones in Dawntrail.
I guess melee dps are okay?

Some might need further tweaking like BLM really needs umbral soul to be gained at low levels. But on the whole I think I will love those jobs this expansion once they get a couple tweaks such as that! Even without at max level content I expect they will all be enjoyable.

for dps im most excited for Monk, im a bit iffy on changing how the system works for attacks, but if that part stays the same then it's fine i was already used to how the gcds felt. It really felt like they got some cool follow ups to their riddle skills which im a fan of.

Ninja looks like it will be fun even when synched down now which is a W, viper might be fun from the sounds of it ill at least try that.

I can't say anything else BLM is looking more clunky, RDM is more of the same and i visually don't like picto, Summoner is looking just boring for another expansion, so my favourite dps the casters are looking kind of "meh" to me. I don't like the dragoon rework, samurai is more of the same (which is fine), i don't like reaper, I also dont really like physical ranged much.
