I think he just craves attention: praise, sympathy, hate, affection, mocking, etc.. it doesn't really matter what kind.

As far as the torrent issue. Its possible to do that now, but don't expect SE to support anything other than their official client.

Does anyone know if people can post torrent links on the official forums? I suspect the mods would remove them.

You dont need torrent links as you can access the torrent file in the above mentioned file path once you start the normal process. Though I expect this thread to be closed because using anything other than the official patcher is against ToS.

I also use bittorrent, never utorrent though, from my understanding they are pretty close to being the same.

Also, it's a veritable ailment. I find it best to avoid them, if possible, not be seen by them. In fact, i sometimes ninja around in a store to avoid being seen by people i'd rather not be seen by.
