I've heard some crazy conspiracy theories that they're just shutting down the game so they can add a bunch of more stuff to it. They're calling it Down-Trial, or something.
That's just ridiculous. Endwalker was the last one. That's why it's got End in the name.
And answer me this, nutcases. If they're supposedly "expanding" on the game, then why would they shut it down, huh? How are all the little characters in the game going to build any new content if their game is shut down? You think NPCs can move around their computer world while the computer is off? How does that even work?
