As Rukira said, it's all practice in the end. So you can only benefit from this!

I've seen similar threads pop up on forums and they've always been a lot of fun to follow. ^^
I may also color whatever you draw. ^^

Just make sure you also ask for reference of the character and keep tabs on people who request and when their request is done. That was something I noticed on other threads like this one. That way it stays organized for you.

Yeah, I was just going to ask that. I have no idea what your characters look like and what you want them to look like in... so can people do me a favor and upload some images in what they would want to look like in their gear? (of course the ones they want their own characters done)

Ummm im changing to female Miqote or Viera in 2.0 , atm im a gross highlander... i only chose him cause of his muscles... but his face looks like sludge so i dont want any pics with him.

Please draw a blonde(yellowyblonde) Miqote with one blue and one green eye and a Viera with whiteblonde hair and red eyes (shes albino). Or dont worry about the color at all.

Just make them pretty! Large knockers please, im gay but I want to show my str8t bf. kkthnxbye

Thank you all! I will be doing ALL OF THEM (still need Refs from Punainen), so it will take me some time. I'm going to learn to take my time on them ^^

Also, Anapingofness, you can totally help Rukira color :D I simply do not care as long as I see color. I'm learning to color myself, but I'm not really getting anywhere, so I want to study from others.

I would be doing line art, but I'm having installation issues with CS4 again. So I'm going to do hand sketch only til I'm able to figure this problem out.

I love fan art, can't wait to see what you draw. :)
I would draw too, but I lost my tablet and can't buy a new one for a while...

Color is quite complex. It is understandable why it is both intimidating and somewhat daunting to learn. Trust me, I used to have the same problem. ~_~;;

My advice? Familiarize yourself with the color wheel. I have one of those "Pocket Color Wheels" you can get at an arts and crafts store for like a couple of dollars. Thankfully, we have the internet so finding a color wheel is pretty easy. I carry mine to class where there is a lack of internet lol.

I can go into further detail if you like but I'm not sure if I'll just be repeating what you already know lol!
However, if you have any questions, I'll try my best to answer them! =D

In any case, I can't wait to see your drawings!

I'd challenge you to be the first person to attempt a design for Red Mage AF (for my lalafell, obviously), though I don't know if you'll have the time with all those requests. XD

If you're interested I can probably link a reference pose image using my taru once I get home and fire up Mikumiku Dancea character pose program of sorts.

Either way, I look forward to seeing your work. This might turn out to be huge like Kingfury's thread on the FFXI boards! :D

Haha, I would like to take said challenge! As long as I'm not using any references from FFXI. I'd like to be as creative as I can be without turning to XI.
