Do gms actually do work?

Not even in the slightest. I'm convinced there are no GMs anymore. I got messaged by one after a report not too terribly long ago and I'm convinced that was actually a hallucination. They're ineffective.

I wonder if one would put some ai prompt question through the helpdesk menu, what type of answer would come back.

I know they do work but maybe the idea of GM is a little bit inaccurate. People expect the old school GM to appear and help out and instead we get ingame mail exchange at the best, and gaol at the worst.

In the communication they try to be super nice and polite all the time, which is heroic feat when taking into account the amount of complaints (some even fake or brigaded) about hurt feelings they have to go through. Big respect for that.

I've reported someone for being homophobic in party chat and had a GM contact me via in-game whispers a very short time after sending the report. So in my experience, yes.
