If the animation for the jump is the issue, why not make is more like the animation for the tanks' gap closers (which btw I noticed were also turned into dashes as well on the job trailer)?

If it must be a dash they should have used the Spiral Thrust from Heaven's Wards Dragoons(it's that spinning dash they did from off screen)
I'm surprised they didn't do it, since we have a new jump that looks based on Skyward Leap from said Heaven's Ward.
They could have added the dash, and made adjustments to Spine Shatter Dive so it is more clear that it should be used for damage.
Dragonfire dive and spineshatter dive are too similar only dragonfire dive is just way cooler. Maybe it will get another charge or a lower cooldown with spineshatter being removed.
Hope for a CD reducing.
Its or lvl 50 skill and the second aoe skill, a dragoon obtain.
And yet, is its CD to long and the dmg to low, to feels like, that the skill realy matters.
And the AoE in low lvl area was allways a problem for drg.
Because whe spam only 1 skill (it only becomes better after lvl 50).
I'm honestly raging about this change. Ss dive was so satisfying to use. I'm really ready to just give up on 14 rn everything I love is being taken away
1. Whomever wanted to remove damage from gap closers should be fired.
2. Whomever created gap closers without damage should be fired.
3. Dragoons jump, you should fire yourself...seriously!

It literally screams to me out of touch dev mentality. You take Dragoon's jumps and EYES. They're literally taking multiple parts of the Dragoon's identity and replacing it with a generic dash that they literally are sharing with two tanks now. At least make non damaging gap closers flavorful for the classes. Not to mention now lower level duties will feel even worse cause we're losing another dps option. Each expansion it gets harder to do sub max level content since parts of our kit are removed or changed to be inconvienent at lower levels
For the love of god just do what you did with High jump SE, Make spine shatter animation faster and remove the damage from it. We all would be fine with that. It's losing our flavor of being a Dragoon is our problem. We shouldn't be going into an expansion worried our job is not feeling like what it should be. i would really like to know the reasoning and why the spineshatter animation chance was needed because right now I do not see any reason it is better than what I proposed
