Red mage would be almost exactly the same, aside from the extra finishers tacked on to its finisher.
Level 50 ARR Monk. Sign me up. People always dunk on ARR 50 classes, but I enjoyed them all, bugs and all.
Well my major takeaway would be jobs would have toolkits that would feel complete at level 50 instead of being absolutely barebones as it is right now.
I honestly don't remember most of the job's rotations back in the day but it feels like they had a lot more "filler" spells and actual CCs build into the kits like heavy, slow, bind.
I really miss shadow flare and bane though...
Honestly, go back and have a look at what a jobs rotation actually was back in the day and you might have a different opinion.
As an example, things did have CC, there was a lot more stuns on damage cooldowns, PLD had a pacify etc, however, look back and honestly think to yourself, how much of that actually mattered?Quote:

Anyone can play this game and I suspect, if they are honest with themselves, they will realise it wasn't necessarily as good as it is now.
I might actually enjoy DRK.
I do wonder- what was dragoon like when it first launched? Was it a floor tank even back then?
