Pre-orders: Faith/No Faith, FOMO/No Risk

As long as I can confirm that I can play Monk pretty much the same as in EW, then I will pre-order, so I'm awaiting the media tour I suppose.
Oh, and maybe some more fishing boat things.

I will pre-order because I have been here since version 1, so I know I will play DT anyway. Plus I like those exp bonus earrings and this one is the first really pretty one we've gotten. That mount tho, I find that really disappointing, and pictomancer will be a no go for me due to the animations, so at least I only need to order than standard edition for the first time since I don't need the CE items.

I'm pre-ordering because I have faith in the development team. I've no doubt that Dawntrail will have its flaws just as each expansion has had some but I'm also confident I will still enjoy playing the expansion.

I don't think there's any reason for FOMO tbh... you can preorder last minute and get the bonus stuff still. I think all of my years back in WoW taught me to wait lol.

I will definitely preorder, no question. Probably just the standard digital version though, not the collector's edition. I'd like the Garnet minion, but the Ark mount isn't really my style. Cool to see yet more FFIX references so far though, I'm curious to see where this is going...

No faith the MSQ will be any good. The new writers are pretty bad and I'm sick of half the Scions. Complete faith Dawntrail will be better than Endwalker in terms of content, which is a very safe bet tbqh, because Endwalker was awful and they're pushing the "MMO" of the MMORPG a little more.

I'm preordering as soon as I get home from work. I've had an excellent time in this game for the last 8 years and look forward to many more.

Plus I entered in vacation for the 28th, even if the game goes down for maintenance which is the EA usual, I'll never miss an EA experience. I love experiencing a new expac with everyone day 1.

Pretty much this, but expanded to the gameplay of all combat roles in general.
I can not deal with another 2.5-3 years of "Shadowbringers, but somehow even worse"-gameplay.

My spouse and I will be pre-ordering 4 standard-edition copies (one for each account we have) on Tuesday: we want the earrings.
Not interested in the ARK mount -- Spectral Statice is way better and free!

Not really worried about how good DT will be: by the time we've played enough of it to decide that, the cost-per-hour attributable to buying the expansions will probably be less than $1/hr, making it a far better entertainment option than most movies being put out these days.

I’ll be pre-ordering the digital collector’s edition on Tuesday. :) Tempted as I am by that cloth map, journal and brush roll, I can’t justify the expense, especially since I could care less about the statue that’s probably the bulk of the price.

I’m excited for the new expansion, and one of the digital items is a Pictomancer glam brush, with a palette that looks like a shooting star. (Makes me wonder if we’ll get to mix and match brushes and palettes the way PLD can do with swords and shields, or if the brush/palette are “together” like an AST globe and card sleeve…) Pictomancer in general is one of the top things I’m looking forward to, and despite my initial apprehension at seeing the job trailer, I’m hoping I’ll end up loving it.

But first and foremost for me is the MSQ… I love this world and its characters, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the next big story is going to be.

Pre-ordering the Collector’s box edition without any doubts. EW was and still is an amazing piece of storytelling and gameplay for me, and unless they drastically change the way FF14 plays, I know I won’t be disappointed.
