I mean, they can already 'save' a screenshot from another party member using the portrait system... imagine if a certain action used the same thing and changed the vfx of the spell with the picture lol.

Now, that would be a cool idea... PIC doesn't have a personal utility button, but instead 'borrows' the other job's personal utilities (so it won't mess with any sort of meta) like Manaward, Warden's Paean, Shade Shift, Icarus.

Sketch: Instant cast oGCD - Draw a sketch of a party member. (Shows character portrait in the animation but with a special sketch filter)
Render: Instant cast oGCD, 90s recast time - Finishes the sketch of a party member and casts one of their actions. (Shows character portrait in the animation but with a special painterly filter)

If too strong, maybe Sketch could be usable only out of combat, so you have to pick your 'muse' beforehand and stick with their action.

It would probally be to complex to write the Codes for that. The game would need to notice the exact appereance of the targeted chara, and than need a data base of all options in cartoon Form or need to calculate the data down to that.

There are multiple duties in the game where characters are copied. Lost City of Amdapor. Aglaia. One of the job quests. Copying characters is easy. After that, applying some extra effects to mute the colors a bit and add rough sketch lines shouldn't be too difficult.
