No. Veteran rewards are the dumbest thing when it comes to new players.
"Oh you want this cool glam? You need to buy 2 years of membership for it". I'll take putting it on the store over that any day.
They should actually use the achievement certificates instead. It's a perfectly good system that hasn't been used in forever.

Hot take but the outfits were supposed to be a reward for staying subbed, just a little 'thank you' token and be done, not something people would have 'the right' to buy at any given time like the store attires - if you'd rather pay a lot of money to get an outfit now instead of just... playing normally and eventually get the attire "for free" that's kind of a you problem.
I do agree the achievments need more love, sometimes I even forget they're a thing lol

All of the non-outfit Veteran rewards got moved to achievement certificates, if they add in new "Veteran Rewards" and they end there I wouldn't mind it at all.
One of the biggest problems with the Veteran Rewards was the required amount of days subbed... Squall's outfit, which was the last one, I do believe needed someone to be subbed for 4 or 5 years total. It's been since taken down to 11 months with the rework on the rewards.

I don't want to sound this rude but I'm going to, I am already cringing at all the edgy tifa/cloud couples we would see in the game

Put more rewards on the achievement certificate vendor, include some one-time-use things like dyes or fantasias, and have veteran rewards give extra certificates. There, us long-time players get bonuses without it actually being an exclusive that takes forever to access.

They should add Veteran rewards based on the amount of play time you have. Also bring back auto logout for those afking.
