I like old pre duty support Ghimlyt. Making Hien and Yugiri as part of your team means that even if you run it with others now they don't show up and split off at the start and I want to say don't even appear in the later half of the dungeon.

Thing is, I took the Nibiruians to actually be an FF Unlimited reference (specifically, the 'Apathetics' from one of the first episodes, the 'World of Fruits' I believe the world was called, it was so long ago I saw that anime) as both are robe-clad lotus eaters sitting around aimless and waiting for death that never comes (given the later final battle against Zenos also includes a pretty blatant FFU reference - aka the special buff you get is litereally called 'Unlimited' - I presumed it was intentional.).
Really to me, the Dead Ends' main issue was it was basically just a rehash of Amaurot in ShB as both were thematically the same - recreation of the fall of a past civilization/world used as a whip to beat the WoL and their companions about how much they suck and how powerless they ultimately are, the Dead Ends only differeing by showing three such fallen societies (and the setting times of both Amaurot and the Dead Ends took place around the same time period and involved the same figure really!). I still enjoyed playing through it though (and I loved the music).
On the other hand, it was still disappointing we did not get something more original, say a reality-warped descent into Meteion's despair that did not involve the dead worlds she encountered, but ah well. Hardly EW's worst sin I guess.
I would to think that all of the races on ultima thule were not affected by the endsinger's song. Meteion had visited these civilizations that had already fallen and she used that to influence her decision. I guess you could say it was a rehash, but amaurot was unique. That place was affected by the song and i know they said the amaurotines created
these beasts, but I'd like think they were influenced by something. It isn't like they created therion out of thin air.
I ran acrf back in hw and i had complained the timer was too short. There were some good dungeon back in the day but se has abandoned that.
