Only way they'll change their minds is if you can convince them that they're not going to make money from this. Oh, but half this playerbase doesn't have the commitment or the self-control to not buy their overpriced products.

I do not want to be that guy, but if you are going to pay $400 for an emote, you have completely lost your mind. 400 DOLLARS. Can't you see how ridiculous this is?

400 bucks for a low quality statue (even some 35 bucks statue made by bandai have a way better overhaul quality) and an emote. yeah i can see ALOT of better uses (with all the upcoming games for example)

I would buy one of the ststues but I am transformer collector. So I would put the $400 towards expanding my tf collection.

The bigger thing is going to be all the people spamming the emote for like a month in Limsa to try and flex on people, just for them to stop using it entirely.

Just like the Omega emote, in my entire time (2200+) playing I've only seen like two people use it.

I bet like 90% of the early buyers are gonna scalp it for 5x the price in a few months too.

Imagine using this emote in town lmao. I'd be ashamed to even have it. I won the whale mount in a player run lotto contest back when people would just toss item codes out there, and whenever I whip it out to give people rides while doing maps, I always feel gross for being seen using it. Like, ew, people think I spent 40 dollars on this trash. Imagine floating in town and showing everyone that you spent like 400 dollars on a low quality figurine and an emote that broadcasts "look at me, I'm a paypig!" to everybody around you.

I dont know what is worse?
people defending these aliexpress quality figures? ("leave the multi bilion company alone!")
people having too much money to spare, or people having too little self control?
or the fact the merch ends up in the hands of scalpers anyway unless they have way to sell it only to accounts with real players behind?

I despise scalpers so much but they exist cause there is market for it. Just looked up the statue and I agree its a very cheap looking statue so the only reason to buy is for that emote considering the price.
