The lore, wiki, race and clan descriptions say different things but the actual visual differences between both groups are the ones outlined in the OP and the post you quoted, hence the purpose of this thread.

If you read the original post, it is clearly stating that Keepers also have a "unique cat thing" for themselves, which is having dilated eyes.
So, the difference between the cat's eye being slit or dilated depends on the amount of light they are exposed to, therefore, they are both unique features for each subrace.
By giving Keepers slit eyes, you would not really be trading anything, you'd be giving them "more" options and there would be no distinction whatsoever between them and Seekers.
The real reason we have fangs is because we are vampire cats... >.>
Yes, this is why I tried to write the OP with as much detail as possible and tried to highlight the subracial differences again in the other post in the first page to make sure that it was clear. Not sure if all those who replied really read the posts thoroughly.
Keepers do have extra features: the longer fangs, the more varied skin tone options, the ability to get traits from Seekers with the exception of the eyes...
That they have more is not the reason why I made this thread though. I'm more than fine with the fact that Keepers get more than Seekers but I still believe that having longer fangs as an option for Seekers is a positive suggestion that would expand both the visual and role play choices related to our characters.
As I have said twice already in both the OP and a post in the first page, Keepers have tan skin color options very similar to the ones that Seekers can have. Seekers, on the other hand, cannot choose the blue-ish tones that Keepers have.
And... you are literally replying to a Keeper of the Moon miqo'te with dark skin very similar to what Seekers can choose.
If you've ever actually looked at both clan's skin tones you would know that no, they can not. Just like Seekers can't use any of the blue or grey skin tones, Keepers only have access to redish-brown tones in the last few rows. Additionally all their skin tones are quite cold (and more desaturated) as opposed to the Seeker's warm brown and tan tones.
I love the Moon cats more because of their fangs/lore but the skin tones are far too grey washed out for my liking. I always wondered why they would give fangs to one and a set of human teefs to the other! I can understand the eyes but the fangs should maybe have given to both. I am a cat mum to 4 and if they had human teefs like the Sun cats I think I would be scared lol.
Look, no one, not anyone Considers the mooncats eyes anything out of the ordinary or special.
Why do you think many users immediately go for Slitted Eyed Suncat over the Fanged Mooncat.
(Mooncat is basically rendered more niche cause you lose out on the cat eyes. while Suncats are rendered more popular cause of their clearly visible trait.)
If you want give and take. it's only fair.
The homogenization of your Clans will leave only skin tones which in all fairness is pretty basic.
It'd be equal with Au Ra Clan Differences.
But regardless, still against the change.
Let mooncats also have slitted eyes-? win/win
