i think it would kill the Oceania data center if they didn't make solo content ,they can barely get anything done with a group unless they have made a group of friend over the years before coming here, but for me waiting hours to get duty finder to work , to the point i have to use party finder for everything, and still have to wait. to the point, i don't what to wait for that and just to get it done. so solo content is the only thing that made new data center work.
they did everything to get players to come here by giving players 15day add to your account if you made a toon and got it to 30 and you got 1mil as well for you first one, but players made there alt for that and never come back to the Oceania servers.
if you don't want solo content on the US/EU/JA that find, but don't take it away from new server because i don't see older player coming to them to help them thrive
for the work i have done on the Oceania data center i hope they never make a data travel here, so you can trash our market

If it stays at the rate of solo content that we keep getting instead of more group content, then Oceania might stay dead. Incentivize groups to gather in ways that are per data center, rather than just cross travel, and you have more health that will grow instead of rot. I imagine I am far from the only one in this situation. You will say "Well then only people who have time to play should be playing an MMO", but to Square Enix that's a lot of lost subscriptions, and for what gain?
Right now I think there's a good balance. Most things in the game CAN be done solo, but is much faster and gives more rewards in a group. Sweaty content is all group-centric, and the solo-centric stuff is not anything that would even be fun in a group anyway. Don't take away solo content thinking it's going to drive people into group content, because it's more likely to just drive them to a different game. -

Having group content is awesome and we should have more, but I also believe that unless the content is intended as more of a hardcore (i.e. savage) then it should still have an option of being done solo (even if it wouldn't be an optimal choice) for convenience of those who cannot group up as often for whatever reason. The times when most MMO players had the luxury of playing several hours every day are long past. There are other games to play (a lot of which are also online and require some level of commitment), and there's real life to live. We're not high school students having only WoW at our disposal anymore, it's not 2003.
And the fact that DevTeam is making soloable content means there's a demographic that needs it. I don't see any good in cutting that part of the playerbase off for the sake of "but we can want to play in group" when, frankly, no one stops us from playing in one to begin with.
If someone's only motivation to group with others at all times is being entirely unable to go solo - I feel like the issue at that point is not within the content having an option to clear it in different ways. Write into that FC chat of yours and gather people together. We do it in ours as often as our busy schedules and time zone differences allow. The fact there're are also things we can make solo doesn't stop us from playing together, and if nothing else means that we can still enjoy the game even when barely anyone is online due to logging in at an ungodly late hour. -

My gripes with job design aside...
I need a field zone (Eureka/Bozja equivalent). They don't need to remove solo content to do this.
There's a lot of solo content for a reason, but it doesn't have to be chopped away, that's the exact reason why players like me are upset with no field zones. -

I mean, we have plenty. 10 years of content catalog actually.
Problem is, it's neglected, and there's no reason at all for you to rerun anything. I got a friend to try the game with the expanded Free Trial and though he's living the combat and instances, what is eventually driving him away aren't just the endless fetch quests, but the question of "this is great but why should we bother?" -

Let me and the crafters putter around solo in peace. There is no need to be exclusionary. It does no harm to you to have us running around the world while you're doing whatever it is you are up to.
