The problem of hitting the gil cap is one that I can safely say I will never encounter lol.
im up to 540 mil gil and by the end of the year 1 billion
Sigh, the rich get richer. First world server problems amirite?
Honestly, if I could exchange gil directly for Crysta (the mogstation currency), that'd be awesome... even if it was a silly exchange rate.. like 100,000k for $1 worth.
I was a try-hard to get gil for my house/FC house..but after that I just kinda stopped caring, but still have like 100M just from passive income. It's honestly insane when I was used to FFXI where it was "guess another day farming honey to get enough to scrape by for the week"
Beyond like 100m, gil honestly just becomes a novelty.
if they added a mount for player to blow all there 900mil , i would be doing treasure maps until i lose my mind , if i wanted it so badly . but i know there are players that have got that gil legit , but my jealousy would make me think those players that have that much Gil, used RMT
but i have some friends that have got lot of gil , while i only got like 40m , i spend to much and i don't do treasure maps all the time. since i can not get groups for it all the time because most of my friends got to much Gil and don't care for farming Gil.
they need more Gil sink items to make players want to do more older content, as well as new content. there is no motivation if they sent years saving for every patch. Gil has became useless to them, they got everything they want and still have a pool of Gil. i know this while since my friend can dump up to 20mil a week on the grand company standing and not sweat one bit over it.
