It's a mod problem, we have nothing but scared mods afraid to enforce their own rules.

Just so you know, TitanMen is a creature of controversy. Always hopping alts because of the post limit, and always looking for problems when there are none(or have already been discussed). I get you, the guy/girl/person/whatever they are thrives on attention, they dont seek controversy, its just the only way they know to get the attention they are lacking in their life,
i see the wave of threads too, i see the intentionally upsetting posts... its a child crying out for moms love.
money may be able you buy you all the accounts in the worlds, but it cant buy you friends.

but its simple, stop feeding the trolls, every bump to his threads, every "oh its just you" or "this is bait" comment just bumps it.

Tbh, just leave the forum at this point. I give it a brief look every week or so to see if it's changed, but those are getting rarer and rarer. The meaningless drivel and troll posts outnumber everything else to such a degree that FF discussion is better held elsewhere.

The fun problem is where, there is a lot of trolls here but discussion is actually rather balanced (if only because everyone is extremely polarised on both sides)

-mainsub- pro 14 echo chamber
-xivdisscussion- anti 14 echo chamber for raiders
-shitpostxiv- used to be okay till it went on an anti mod tirade that consumes everything
-Facebook groups- make YPYT and zero DPS healers look like rank 1 ultimate raiders
-X (formally known as twitter)- ERP

14 really has no good discussion spaces

Seriously, the forums software has a ignore list. Just use it and trolls will not bother you.

a regular rule of thumb OP, is game forums are ignored by easily 90% of the player base to begin with. it has nothing to do with trolls.
