That's a good point. I think they don't care about Eureka enough or they would have tackled the complaints people were making here some time ago.

Figured OP would be in favor of trial players not being able to freely prog their way through content that paid players spend months completing.

I dont think the notes specified Eureka being blocked off but maybe we'll see more in the full patch notes?


I didnt even think about the potential botting with free trial accounts in certain content. It makes sense why Ultimates are blocked off anyway

Free trial players being locked out of Ultimates means they can't spend money on RMT to get carried.

I don't see an issue with with free trial players in Eureka not like they can horde gil with that 300k cap and they cant even use shout chat so they will struggle to get to NM or partys

I can't say I understand the point of excluding them, but I cant say I really care.

Who do you think keep the game alive and cover it costs.. is it the free trial players?

In this world: money is everything ..
If it dosnt improve sales or drag in money => it will not exist..
(Free trial is basically a demo)

It takes roughly two days from what I know with a bot to get from level 1 to level 70. Which if anyone is doing any sort of under the table RMT, they are most definitely botting their way though. And since it's a free trial there is far less risk of being banned over a bot. It's a throw away already. Sale teams would use those characters to sell carries, and RMTs will probably sell accounts with all the ultimate weapons on one account at a marked up price.
