If you look at the housing market right now (at least it's the case on Chaos), it seem poeple begin to no care about that.

The reason they tell you to take a break is simple: they cannot handle any criticism. Their ego is tied to the game, and the moment you criticize the game, it's as if you personally insulted them. The lengths at which they go to harass, witch-hunt, and doxx criticizers, not to mention some who even sent death threats to those who criticize, says it all.
Just think of all the people making money from FF14 players, from fanart ($100 sometimes) to making mods (some of which is literally ripping assets from other games and selling it for $30), of all kinds, to streaming, and to other types of "activities" (like reselling houses on Omega for $800) while laughing at the horrid state of the game and its players in private. There are a lot of paypigs to exploit, this is well-known. People will pay $200 to make an ugly custom portrait for their in-game character to use on Discord because they're addicted to the game and to their character.
Vultures, perhaps? But while FF14 is becoming a joke of a game, the vultures are eating well.
In fact, the worse the game becomes, the better it is for the vultures, as players start to rely on third-party content, ToS-abiding or not, to continue engaging in the community. How many players in FF14 are only subbed because they paid $200 to make their custom IMVU character with custom ToS-violating bodies and poses?
It's totally valid, it is a reflection of how you feel about the game.
This just flies out of the window if you cannot keep it in check and start affecting others negatively with your attitude.
Then you have riots in the streets because your favorite sports team lost the match, which was a game about only kicking a ball into a box.
I really don’t have the energy to type out anything to make my point against the OP or the forum troll as Stormy has already done it and if I chimed in it wouldn’t be productive of my time or nicely written and I ain’t chancing a alt spam report lol
Normally, when someone close to you is dealing with an actual crisis, the smart thing it's to listen to their frustration, let them vent and, if possible, help them find a solution, in that order.
I don't know you.
I'm not your friend.
Nor your girlfriend.
Don't vent to me and to strangers if you don't like the solution. And you being burnt out with the game is not a crisis.

This is my first time using this forums, normally I just read and lurk but... Seeing Noumenon post after post embolden me to prove to you that moderation is still here on the forum.
I will never understand why people care about a pixel house in a game they no longer want to play. The day I tire of this game, my sub will go and so will my houses as they are pointless and useless if I don’t want to play. Already let a house go on a server I rarely play on. In the meantime, I still enjoy the game and am having fun.
I agree.
I realise I seem to bring up the fact that I played/quit another game prior to being introduced to FFXIV quite often, but the fact is, I was a little like Aveyond once. My distaste for what that game had devolved into did lead to me posting negatively on the official forums and social media attached to that game but, after a time, I realised that it wasn't achieving anything. It sure as hell didn't make me feel better about anything, the Devs and CM were infamous for having outright said (in a livestream) that feedback from the "vocal minority" on the game's forum/social media was ignored in favor of metrics. And whilst there were plenty of players who agreed/felt the same way... it just didn't matter. Their commitment to pumping out lootboxes and £300 bundles of items and only producing one new episode, worth about 45 minutes of play-time, every six months was never going to be dropped because their cherry-picked metrics told them what they wanted to hear.
So I quit that game, took up the recommendation to try FFXIV, felt better for it and haven't looked back. And I'm not saying that FFXIV is perfect. Not at all. But, as unpopular as 'whataboutism' may be here, I still feel that things could be far worse.
