Haha, this is some serious main character stuff, right here.

So this is "we told you so" the thread. I should ask, is this needed considering most of this forum is chronicling how bad the game apparently is (or anything CBU3 for that matter)? Or is this some sort of ego stroke? Again just asking.
How did we end up here? I'd say it's in part because people who claim to dislike the games direction who still line up every month to fund said direction. It's like idiot Madden fans that get crap every year. They pay for crap so thats what EA knows it can make money on. So no I don't suspect the changes some of you want will happen because you've shown SE you'll pay regardless. "Oh but my house", yeah no. If you want to make an actual stand trivial things like that shouldn't matter.

Or they'll complain that content sucks and do it anyway, boosting it's metrics and SE sees it's popular.

I actually know that FFXIV Discussion troll outside of the game, irl. That story is a bit to deep to go into. All I'll say on it is that person just should have been ignored and they would have eventually gone away. But people kept feeding the bait so they kept posting. Long story short, a particular mod over there was also in on the trolling which is why it went on for as long as it did.

Exactly what happened with Eureka to Bozja. So many did Eureka while hating it despite complaining so there came Bozja next expac. I just will never understand putting money into something you don't like largely or aren't really enjoying. In the end it doesn't help. 1.0 got the message cause folks weren't buying into it. Talking on a forum only goes so far. I said months ago that it's time for action yet folks called me a gatekeeper among many other buzzwords n labels. Again, odd behavior.

Interesting, although still unfortunate that another mod got involved to back up the one in question, but that explains a lot assuming we've got the same person in mind.
