Do you desire to be a cog in the machine? Because I guarantee you it's not a good experience for them either. What a weird thing to even partially fantasize about.. I feel concerned for anyone thinking these kinda thoughts.

Humanity is exhausting in general, so just go sit on the couch and flip through the channels so you can reduce yourself down to being a statistic of opinion. No need to talk anymore, just watch the things that make your brain feel something.

It's different. That's the point. They want to do something different.

• We had knights and kings with UK themes (Ishgard).
• We had war between militaries and liberation like in 2010-2012 with lots of Japanese themes (Stormblood).
• We went to another world with faeries and hobgoblins and light vs dark.
• We went to the moon and then to another star (sort of sci-fi).
• We are a Confederate pirate going on holiday to an island inhabited with trees and Mamool Ja tribes in search of gold.

What is key about these things? They are so very, very different from eachother.

The trailer was the least exciting to me of any I've seen, but like me you haven't even done the expansion yet. We didn't get to see a lot of things in the teaser. The idea of a pirate is growing on me though.

Most likely you noticed this eating technology in FF16 as well.

Stretch af but this might be FFCC with the whole tribal thing. Wouldn’t mind if the soundtrack for the entire expansion would be like Crystal Chronicles as well. Ah, there’s a dungeon idea: have a player carry the “stay inside to not die” field and base the dungeon and boss fights around that.

Dude, we've only gotten like a 2 minute teaser trailer and a brief overview of some stuff at Fan Fest. Calm yourself.

And you give the the VII Rebirth trailer a pass when everyone and their brother is memeing on Cloud riding a Segway and the scene with Sephiroth giving Cloud bedroom eyes while his hair flows luxuriously like a hair commercial. SE has fun with these things. It's nothing new.

They did do the first part of Dzemael Darkhold.

It's one of the better trash segments in the game imo, but now trash in general has as much hope of killing a tank as the pulls in early Darkhold...

Really, any ideas to change dungeon progression would be welcome though. Love me some FFCC

It doesn't help that it's already being described as a 'vacation'. I doubt there will be any major stakes given that the second coming of the apocalypse resulted in the increasingly smarmy protagonists bragging about walking away with not even a scar to show for it.
