I want mine back as an alternative to my choco companion.

Hahahaha Negima. The anime made some pretty funny jokes, the manga not to sure. Haven't read them too much.

Definitely a badass wizard right there. Even more with His Fire/Lightning forms.

They should have included the Companions in the GC quests, and had Van Darnus kill them for dramatic effect.
On an unrelated note, I hope we can put our own gear on Companions in 2.0

Akamatsu Ken has a tendency to do decent harem series. I attribute it to the fact that he knows how to make likeable characters.

Anyway, now you know how you can play on that Miqo'te path companion of yours.

This I can actually see happening. Almost like the final vestiges of old FFXIV dying with your path companion.

I do miss that ole girlfriend of mine. She was one sexy feline. If she dies by 2.0, I'm strangle-punting the first lalafell I get my hands on.

Our companions are the new SE Sephiroth, they Just won't die. I mean... How the hell do they survive all that.

I'm shamelesdsly bumping this thread again for the devs in the light of Gamescon 2012... will our NPC Path Companions be in 2.0? I seriously miss mine and have not been able to use her in anything ever since I completed the Main scenario quests last year (I have the witty female Lalafell Shantotto build)

So will they be in 2.0? And if so, how do we get them back? Will they be more involved in the storyline or relevant sidequests? And will we be able to level them up just as the Fellow system in FFXI?

I just realized it is possible that the companion died in the meteor fall. I really hope this doesn't happen. It has been like a year since I have seen my companion but she was so funny and awesome! I want to play with her again.
