Meat n Mead makes raid food last 10-15 minutes longer, which means only eating two food for a raid lockout instead of three. As most raid food costs about 3k gil, that is not really much value.
Proper Care has the same problem, gear wear is reduced. Fully repaired gear without the bonus will last for at least one full raid lockout. All proper care will do is prevent your gear from getting as low, slightly reducing its repair costs. -
