Ocean Sailing for dawntrail.

One of my greatest joys in an MMO was crafting the first ship in Vanguard to sail to areas of the world that were otherwise unreachable by players. Of course, it was fun going into areas that were essentially uncoded and discovering bugs. But it was a great experience to throw down the shackles binding the playerbase to the earth and go to uncharted lands.

It would be great if we could make our own personal boat. Of course, it won't be crafting that does it and it will be heavily restricted. And you'd likely just use it once to get from Point A to Point B and get the aetheryte and just port there instead.

Yes. I've wanted this for years. Back in Heavenward, I thought FC airships was going to be something like that but for the skies.

For real? Damn, what else don't I know about the 1.x plans. I would love to know how far their content and story plans went.

it'd probably as shallow and uninteresting as underwater zones.
