I'm surprised we're apparently getting two jobs tbf.
It would be nice to see 3 jobs, but, given that their job design team seems to have remained the same size and is still responsible for the maintenance of the jobs that already exist in the game, I'd say it's surprising that they even considered adding 2, even if they are DPS, even more so that they'll definitely be coming.
IIRC, there was an interview where YoshiP basically said something to the effect of not having much left to work with in terms of classic jobs (that would fit the ffxiv vision), so they were considering expanding into more "original" territory. So I would almost say that at least half of those classic jobs you listed are probably not in the running, at least not in the form you might expect them to be.
I couldn't care less about how many new jobs they add when those end up being nothing but fancy particle effects with palette swap mechanics.
I'll gladly take only a single new job every one or even two expansions if that job ends up being truly unique.
Honestly, I would rather them stop making new jobs for a while and focus on alternative battle systems and cleaning up the jobs we already have.
21 classes is a lot (22 if you count BLU). And I can't imagine them being able to adequately balance or design jobs if they just keep piling them on. Also leveling/gearing/relics are going to become absolute nightmares for both players and devs.
To be honest...
I still think 2, just make 1 be a homage/classic, and then make another be completely original.
I personally think they have too many longstanding issues already to undertake adding an additional job on top of the 2 we already get. I would rather a chunk of those resources/budget goes into resolving those.
I think they need to stop making new jobs until they update the glamour system. As well as weapon inventory.

the only reason they add new jobs is to keep people busy for that little bit longer leveling their next two classes. the new jobs are not adding any new content. basically all they are being added in for is to provide some new "candy" for those people desperate for a new job every release instead of addressing the real problems such as anything resembling job identity.
They've already said multiple times that they want to move away from classic FF jobs and make unique FF14 specific jobs. So I doubt we will see many more classic jobs at all being added, or if they are they will be added in a way that is nothing like it has ever been before and is the classic job in name only.
That all said, the amount of work that goes into new jobs isn't going down and is only going up. By the time they are done with the graphic overhaul and the Female Hrothgar they will have more jobs to manage. Each new job gets special AF gear, relics, job quests, new weapon design, and must be balanced. So even without considering the fact that they flat out stated right after the disaster that was the HW trio (Cause lets be honest the only HW job that launched in a good place was DRK. Release AST was terrible until like 3.3 at the earliest and HW MCH... gun mage was gods awful) that they are never doing that again, the probability of them doing a 3 job release ever again is in the negatives.
