I reject this notion on the grounds that I refuse to believe anyone has that much disposable income to just blow on that many alt accounts.

I've never gone through someone's post history looking for "evidence" to use against someone in an internet argument. It's happened to me on this forum at least a dozen times now.

And this crap is always coming from the same people.

I have certainly seen gaslighting on this forum before, though it normally is less akin to what the OP says, and more to do with how others behave and the factions that seem to form surrounding certain topics/people.

I don't know, I must be really alienated from this mindset, because to me is wild how those people would waste so. Much. Energy with that kind of thing, and I'm not talking about the obvious Titantrolls and others alike, but actual serious posters who go out of their way with lenghty and elaborate answers (most of the time, at least) to belittle opinions and experiences that go against what they believe is good or right.

I would guess that this incessant activity makes them feel their "MVP" fantasy lol. Or maybe they think this is some sort of good social media, because this ancient-tech OF barely works for an engaging conversation about a subject.
