Westwolves is like the worst name of an expansion

One brings wolves
Two toned wolves tumble through west

The expansion will actually be named Southcats, and it will be about femhroths of Meracydia, 100%

But really, this doesn't sound like name of expansion, but rather name for some in-dev IP, like Forspoken.

The expansion that ended a story of 10 years is called Endwalker

Remember when everyone thought the Trademark for Forspoken was gonna be the name for the next FFXIV expansion?

I remember, and it was halarious to see Everybody was wrong.

It is going to bug the everlasting heck out of me because the abbreviation for Westwolves will be WW and it is ingrained in my head that WW means Wind Waker. I will never not think of Wind Waker whenever I see people post WW.

I am definitely not saying this is the new xpac name, but if it is, I don't hate it. It doesn't make much sense to me at the moment, but it rolls off the tongue well enough. Stormblood took some getting used to, too.
